Non executive board

The "Private Plus Fund" was initiated by Fortis Mees Pierson and Newion Investments Management (NIM). It has a non executive board consisting of senior members with a lot of experience in investments, finance and consultancy.


Mr. F.R.H. van Efferink
Mr. van Efferink was Policy Assistant at the Ministries of Finance and Economic Affairs. Subsequently, he held the position of Senior Investment Manager at AlpInvest Partners. As of 2002, Mr. van Efferink has been active as Informal Investor and as Consultant. In addition, begin 2005, he became Partner and Co-Founder of Icos Capital Management in Amsterdam.

Mr. P.C. de Leeuwerk
Drs P.C. (Peter) de Leeuwerk (1957) started his career as Policy Assistant at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He learned the trade of investment manager at N.V. GOM (nowadays called OOST NV). In 1989 he started to work for KplusV Consultancy in Arnhem, where he became partner and Executive Director. Since 2009 he works for himself as management consultant and interim manager.

Mr. D.J. van Ommeren
Mr. van Ommeren (1967) is as Managing Director with Mees Pierson responsible for all activities in the field of Investments (including Real Estate and Private Equity). Within the same organization, he was Commercial Director of MeesPierson Netherlands. Furthermore, he held various positions in business development and sales management, both in the Netherlands as abroad. He is also member of various Non Executive Boards of Directors and has served on the board of several funds.
